Pillar Energy is located in Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is a large-scale high-tech enterprise that is the world's only facility to integrate the research and development, production, recycling and sales of water-based lithium-ion batteries. The Phase I factory has an annual production capacity of 1 GWh and officially started production in 2022. The Phase II factory, with a planned capacity of 5 GWh, is expected to be operational in 2024 and cover an area of 100 acres.
Pillar Energy utilizes its proprietary WATMAR3 water-based materials and production processes to replace traditional binders like PVDF and flammable toxic organic solvents like NMP in the manufacturing and pilot recycling of lithium-ion batteries. This ensures a safe and non-toxic working environment for employees.
During the manufacturing process, our company reduces energy consumption and operating costs, resulting in over 40% reduction in carbon emissions. We also make lithium battery recycling more convenient and efficient, thereby contributing to China's national strategic goals of "peak carbon emissions" and "carbon neutrality."
